Who It's For · What's Covered

Built for people, not just programmers.

No prior AI experience, no programming background. If you can describe what you want in plain English, you can build it.

Two days, module by module — taught, demonstrated live, then built by you on your own Claude Code subscription (Pro or Max).

Day 1 — Build the assistant

  • The reframe. Get your own machine live, and go from chatting with AI to a system that knows your world.
  • Your boot file. The one file that turns a generic assistant into yours.
  • Context & memory. Teach it your real world, so it's right between sessions.
  • The permission model. AI is probabilistic — this is how you make it deterministic where it counts, so you get the results you want and prevent the ones you don't.

Day 2 — From assistant to workforce

  • Your first skill. A reusable move for what you do every week.
  • Your first agent. A working "Morning Brief," built live.
  • Memory, maintenance & orchestration. How a growing workforce stays in sync instead of drifting.
  • Back it up. Automatic backups so you never lose everything you've built — plus a simple plan for what to build next.

Building along? A laptop (Windows or Mac) with admin rights — bring a real task, sanitized first (no client, patient, or proprietary data; use sample data). Just watching? No setup — show up and follow along.

By the end, you've built the two parts every AI worker runs on — an agent, and the skill it reaches for — and seen how a whole roster of them stays in sync instead of drifting. You leave with the templates. Then you keep building.

Format & Dates

Two days, four live online sessions.

Cohort 2 runs four two-hour live virtual sessions across two consecutive days — two each day on Wednesday, October 14 and Thursday, October 15, 20269:30–11:30 a.m. and 1:00–3:00 p.m. ET each day — eight hours of instruction total. Seats for this cohort are capped for real, hands-on attention during the live sessions.

Optional lab sessions — extra hands-on lab time on both days, right before each main session: 9:00–9:30 a.m. and 12:30–1:00 p.m. ET. Completely optional and on top of the eight core hours — drop in for more build time, or skip them entirely.

CPE Credit

Up to 8.0 hours of CPE for CPAs — a bonus, not the whole point.

Both formats (Build-Along and Watch & Learn) qualify for full CPE credit, subject to standard monitored-attendance requirements. Field of study: Information Technology (technical).

Active CPA (Virginia). This is self-sponsored CPE — confirm acceptance with your own state board before relying on it. Heflin Group LLC is not endorsed, approved, or registered by NASBA, the AICPA, or any state board of accountancy.

Meet Your Instructor

Whitney Heflin, CPA

Founder, Heflin Group LLC · CPA · Navy veteran

Whitney spent 20+ years in risk management, audit, and finance inside one of the country's largest health insurers. She's also a former small business owner — she co-owned and ran a yoga studio — so she knows what it means to hustle and build something from scratch, not just audit it from the outside.

This year she founded Heflin Group LLC and set out to build her own working AI agent workforce from scratch — training under one of the world's leading AI authorities, where an app she built was singled out as a standout. This course is her handing you the shortcut.

Left brain, right brain, all of it: she'll talk risk models and yoga flows in the same breath, she knits, and she lives in Louisville with three English Cream Golden Retrievers who remain thoroughly unimpressed by artificial intelligence.
