What You'll Build — Live, Over Two Days
Choose your format: watch each concept get taught and demonstrated live, no laptop required — or build your own alongside as we go, which is highly encouraged, since that's where it actually clicks. Either way, here's what gets built over the two days:
Building along? You'll need a laptop (Windows or Mac) with admin rights and your own Claude Code subscription — not included in the course fee. Whatever recurring task you bring, sanitize it of any confidential data first (client data, patient data, proprietary business data — whatever applies to your own work) and use sample or placeholder data for the hands-on exercises instead.
Just watching and learning? None of that setup is required — show up and follow along. (Though, real talk — building along is more fun. Just saying.)
Format & Dates
Cohort 1 runs four two-hour live virtual sessions across two consecutive days — two each day on Wednesday, August 5 and Thursday, August 6, 2026 — 9:30–11:30 a.m. and 1:00–3:00 p.m. each day — eight hours of instruction total. Seats for this cohort are capped for real, hands-on attention during the live labs.
CPE Credit
Both formats (Build-Along and Watch & Learn) qualify for full CPE credit, subject to standard monitored-attendance requirements. Field of study: Information Technology (technical).
Active CPA (Virginia). This is self-sponsored CPE — confirm acceptance with your own state board before relying on it. Heflin Group LLC is not endorsed, approved, or registered by NASBA, the AICPA, or any state board of accountancy.
Meet Your Instructor

Whitney spent 20+ years in risk management, audit, and finance inside one of the country's largest health insurers. She's also a former small business owner — she co-owned and ran a yoga studio — so she knows what it means to hustle and build something from scratch, not just audit it from the outside.
This year she founded Heflin Group LLC and set out to build her own working AI agent workforce from scratch — training under one of the world's leading AI authorities, where an app she built was singled out as a standout. This course is her handing you the shortcut.
Left brain, right brain, all of it: she'll talk risk models and yoga flows in the same breath, she knits, and she lives in Louisville with three English Cream Golden Retrievers who remain thoroughly unimpressed by artificial intelligence.
